Alpha privacy policy
This page covers the data Hex Hour receives through the closed alpha sign-up form on hexhour.com.
What we collect
Your e-mail, Telegram or Discord nickname (if given), city and country, phone system and model, and your form answers: how often you walk, what you have played, the “I am 16 or older” and “I agree to get e-mails” boxes. Also the utm_source tag if the link you followed had one.
Why
To send the invite and pick 40 testers across cities and phones. The city lets us prepare the map in advance. E-mails are only about the alpha and the game launch. We do not sell the data or share it for advertising.
Where it is stored
On the project’s own server. The site uses no third-party form services, analytics, external scripts or fonts. It sets one cookie, lang, to remember the language you picked.
How long we keep it
While the alpha and the open Prologue run, and no longer than 12 months from the sign-up date. Then we delete it.
How to delete it
Write to privacy@hexhour.com from the address you signed up with. We will delete the data and reply by e-mail. The same e-mail can ask for a copy of your data or a correction.
To delete your game account, use play.hexhour.com/delete-account.
Location data
The site and the form do not collect your location. The game asks for location separately, in its own onboarding, with its own explanation and consent.
GDPR and LGPD
If you are in the European Union (GDPR) or in Brazil (LGPD), you have the right to know what data we hold about you, to correct and delete it, and to withdraw consent to e-mails. The basis for processing is the consent you give in the form. Send requests to privacy@hexhour.com.
